Matters Graph is proud of our longstanding commitment to Howard University School of Business, including our partnership with the HPS Center for Financial Excellence. For the past three years, Senior Partner Jeff Merkle has taught “Managing in the Global Environment,” a highly regarded course in Howard’s Executive MBA program, where students work through a commercial due diligence simulation as a case study in international dealmaking.

Now we’re expanding that commitment with a new externship program, and we’re excited to welcome our first two Howard students, Savannah Sutton and Reggie Alexander!

Dr. Curtis Kidd Telemaque, Director of the Howard University School of Business’s HPS Center for Financial Excellence (CFE), shared:

“Matters Graph has been an outstanding partner to Howard University School of Business and the HPS Center for Financial Excellence, and we’re deeply grateful for their commitment to our students. Jeff’s coursework brings Matters Graph’s investigative, evidence-based approach into the classroom, teaching our Executive MBA students to dig beneath the surface, test assumptions with real data, and turn rigorous analysis into confident decisions. This new externship extends that experience beyond the classroom, giving our students a firsthand look at how high-stakes strategy and investment decisions within the investor community get made.”
